In front of that grave is a marker for a Professor Joh. [Johannes] Seynsche (1857-1925).

Who is he?

Well, he was married to Anna Limbach (1882-1943), the eldest sister of Fritz!

And they were the parents of (amongst other children) Ingeborg Seynsche, "one of the first women to be allowed to earn a doctorate on a mathematical topic in Göttingen

This is starting to develop into an episode of "Who do you think you are?", so I'll stop now (before I well up, as you should on that program (it's in the contract) ----barf------). :D

I rather like "Who do you think you are"

I am very keen on my family history. Having spent the last 10 years reading through this forum.

Researching Johann FELEDZIAK, Pionier Battalion No29 from Posen (Poznan) was my start point and from the verlustlisten I got his hometown in Poland. And from the church records Familiy history going back to 1760.

The key to all this research was from my first question on this forum back in 2013.
