Difficult to remember things from 8 days ago let alone 8 years! Good list though ; have managed to find just over 140 of them so far.

 I know the feeling . That's some collection !

I thought it might be worth showing this recent purchase, one of the most elaborate memorial volumes I’ve come across. Major Fitzwilliams had the most remarkable career. The synopsis below is from Tom Donovan’s book on the subject ‘In Memoriam’.  The wood engraving is by his daughter, Ulrika. The print run must have been extremely small as the only other copy I can find is in the Bodlean. I imagine Zaehnsdorf full Morocco bindings didn’t come cheap.IMG_0796.jpeg.3b14c1615bf2f4bd1a8fa379402de9fd.jpegIMG_0790.jpeg.22e9af2f5635641220cb882e2fb64f35.jpegIMG_0792.jpeg.42515988c1a55f54ccaa3b7bcfd745c5.jpeg
