An old pal went to a funeral of a ex RN sailor this afternoon and a chap of about 65 turned up with two rows of medals on his right chest. One of which was his uncles Great War VC.

Is this 'the done thing' ? Also is the recipients name etc on the reverse ?

Hi Yes on back of VC is name and date of action. regards Robert

Thank you for the replies. The VC was Kenealy, Lancashire Fusiliers, Gallipoli.
