gnr.ktrha Posted 22 August , 2013 Share Posted 22 August , 2013 I'm sure I read something in Call to Arms by Charles Messenger about officers buying their 1914 Star ribbon from French suppliers when they were on leave as there was a delay getting it through official channels.
