In memory of 4 Russians, an Englishman, and a Canadian, who fought together on August 21st, 1917, attacking Cinnabar Trench, NW of Lens, France.

430523, BATES, Arthur, Private, "A" Coy, 29th Bn. Answered roll call.

104132, BEER, Alfred Courtney, Private, "A" Coy, 29th Bn. KIA, no known grave, Cemetery: Vimy Memorial.

105449, BODNARUK, Anton, Private, "C" Coy, 29th Bn. Wounded, Remained at duty.

417854, BROZNITSKY, Kiril, Private, "C" Coy, 29th Bn. GSW both legs.

417825, GRESCHUK, Mikhail, Private, "B" Coy, 29th Bn. KIA, no known grave, Cemetery: Vimy Memorial.

488974, MANLICK, George, Private, "B" Coy, 29th Bn. KIA, no known grave, Cemetery: Vimy Memorial.

The 29th (Vancouver) Battalion lost 85 KIA and 250 WIA this day.
