Would you mind looking to see if there is a references for:

Private Benjamin Colley, 1st South Staffords - killed in action 1st July 1916? He came from Walsall Wood.

Private Alfred Steenton, 2nd South Staffords - killed in action 15th November 1914. Lived in Walsall and worked at Bescot Railway Depot.

Hi

Alfred Steentons picture appears in the observer on the 2-1-15 he lived on Stafford street

The only picture of a Colley is a W Colley

Hi,

I've just read your email. CSM Frank Bytheway was my great Uncle, the Local History Centre at Walsall is not far from me. I am prepared to visit and copy information from the Walsall Observer for people who are not able to make the journey.

PS they didn't include 4 photographs with their reports but they did use an enlargement of the same photograph each time.
