another one still from monte Rasta

down the town of Asiago, the arc is military cemetery built in 1938 (more than 30.000 falllen inside), the right hill is the cima Ekar zone.

Hi Marco and welcome to the Forum. Is there much physical presence of the war remaining in this area such as trench lines, gun pits etc?

Yes a lot of...... there is a project with EU money that restore the lines...

you can see the link to the Monte Zebio area (offensive june 1917) with the situation.

maybe.....why not.

I can find location for sleep & eat.....plus a tour of the main location...of course not in winter ....snow risk...

Could I be really cheeky please? Could you possibly get me a photograph of the grave of Alfred Gordon FAULKNER, Private 202102, 1/4th Battalion Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. Died 15/06/18. Boscon British Cemetery. Plot 3. Row B. Grave 4.

Yes is possible but not now, in late spring, now the road is closed for snow & I must wait the good season. In future no problem for this & other photos.
