IFTCP WWII Non-Commemorations

Good news! Thanks Mods.

However (and with the utmost respect!)

A. You forgot this one:

Terry Denham (31/10/07) GWF's Non-Com System Expands http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=85022 "The considerable success of the GWF procedures for having non-comemmorated casualties accepted by MoD/CWGC has been noted here before. This has prompted some members to ask if they can use the system for submitting similar cases for WW2 'forgotten' casualties.

With Chris' permission, the answer is - 'Yes'. "

and B. Your links in the other thread don't work!

Well spotted. Sorry!

Anyway, hopefully an outcome we can all be happy with.

Indeed, very good news. My thanks to the Mods who, I know, have been working hard to resolve this matter over the weekend. I'm pleased to see that existing arrangements can basically continue.

As Terry (then a moderator) said at the end of the post Adrian mentions "Even though these men will be 'off-topic' for this Forum, at least they will get some recognition. Don't worry, there will be very few of them and they will not distract attention from WW1. "

Perhaps there is a Father Christmas, after all.

Thank you for seeing (what I believe) sense. The WW2 non comms are few and far between and its nice to see that the right decision has been found, well done mods, credit where credit is due.
