D.S.O. and Group Captain Fellowes D.S.O. Letters of appreciation and congratulation from both the G.O.C and the Group Captain were received by the squadron for it's "workmanlike appearance" and "the efficient and expeditious way" in which the machines were erected and brought into action". A flight of Snipes from No 56 Sqn RAF was sent to Turkey in September 1922, followed by the Snipes of No 25 Sqn, who arrived at San Stephano on 11 October 1922 and remained in the country until 22 September the following year.
