Albert was KIA on 15 Sep 1916 during Battle of Flers-Courcelette.

On Page 73 the book states the following details we believe are incorrect:

  1. Aged 20 - Baptism Records show he was 22 - born 27 Dec 1893
  2. Son of George an engineer at Hatton Asylum and Eliza Clark - the baptism and census records show father's name was Frederick, a farmer (up to 1911). Confirmed by his pension card showing next of kin as his mother Eliza.
  3. Born in Wolverton, Buckinghamshire - he was born in Wolverton, Warwickshire
  4. Resided in Hatton - in 1893 he lived in Wolverton, Warks; in 1901 he lived in Wootton Wawen, in 1911 and 1916 family lived in Beausale near Hatton

The memorial listed his name as Clarke, most records have Clark
