Hooter Posted 15 February , 2004 Share Posted 15 February , 2004 I’ve just finished reading Niall Ferguson’s ‘The Pity of War’. In the concluding chapter, he mentions in passing a film called ‘The Battles of Coronel & the Falkland Islands’ from the 1920’s. A quick search of web movie databases reveals that the film was directed by Walter Summers, and released in 1928 (producers: A E Bundy, H Bruce Woolfe; writing credits: Frank Bowden, Merritt Crawford, Harry Engholm). Does anyone know anything more about it?
