Ian Underwood Posted 15 February , 2004 Share Posted 15 February , 2004 The problem with the image, is you're saving it as a GIF, rather than a JPG. In simple terms, GIFs work best when compressing flat areas of colour, where as a JPG file is optimised for photographs and compress colours by the pixel. Try saving it as a JPG (or jpeg). email me off list if you need any help. And to continue the thread, this website has a few pics of the German raider Emden's 4 inch Gun that was mounted in Hyde Park Sydney in 1917 to commemorate the battle off Cocos Island with HMAS Sydney.
