basiloxford Posted 25 May , 2008 Share Posted 25 May , 2008 Hello, I'm trying to find out what happened to a soldier who served in the Army Veterinary Corp, and died on the 5/12/1915. The "Soldiers who died in the Great War" database says he "died at sea" on that date, and i was wondering if anyone knows of any ships who was either sunk or attacked in the Mediterranean on the 5th of December 1915. His name is Harry Trinder, and he served with the 15th Veterinary Hospital, and is remembered on the Doiran Memorial, Greece, which would mean he died possibly on his way to Salonika. The other possibility is that he was either suffering from Illness, or Wounds, and died on a Troop transport Ship. Any help would be appreciated. Barry.
