Mishka Posted 20 May , 2008 Share Posted 20 May , 2008 I have Service Attestation for Louis Rae who was appointed to the Scots Guards in February 1916. In the section: 7. Have you ever served in His Majesty's forces, naval or military, if so which? Yes, KBRFA. Left District 1910. then 9. Are you willing to be enlisted for General Service? Yes. KB RFA. What is this KB RFA? I've tried looking it up but keep getting Greek script websites. Can anyone help?

jay dubaya Posted 20 May , 2008 Share Posted 20 May , 2008 Probably far of the mark, but could it be one of the Kent Batteries Royal Field Artillery, they were TF units in existence prior to the outbreak of war Jon
