Ian C Posted 19 May , 2008 Share Posted 19 May , 2008 Hi Does anoyne know if there was a VAD hospital in this area of North Bucks in November 1918? I'm trying to research Robert Charles Cook, (9 Norfolks), who died from his wounds on 11/11/1918 and is buried in his home village of Winslow. The local paper reported that his funeral was attended by the VAD Commandant, Miss. Lambton. I believe that the Lambtons were a well to do family in the Winslow area at the time. Thanks Ian C
