Doc2 Posted 28 April , 2008 Share Posted 28 April , 2008 There have been many inquiries in the past on this forum about various aspects of the lives of female munitions workers in the UK during WWI. A reference has come across my desk which might be of interest, as it covers both organisational issues and much information on the social and working lives of these ladies. Author: Angela Woollacott. Title: On Her Their Lives Depend/ munitions workers in the great war. University of California Press, 1994. It's heavy on "feminism" and sociology, but contains a lot of very useful and interesting information. Doc2
