The 2nd Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, which my grandfather, 2936 Pte Joe Upton, belonged to, were in Salonica from 1915 to 1917, I believe. Can anyone help me with information on what they did there?

Many thanks

great bit of info Javis,

my great grandad 2nd NF was wounded and dis-charged in nov 1915 I'm guessing in the last action the 2nd saw in France?

but its great to see where he would have gone had he not had his toes blown off.

Barry.
