tommarmot Posted 4 April , 2008 Share Posted 4 April , 2008 Hello, I recently came into possession of my grandpa's photos. He was Pte Henry Woods, Seaforth Highlanders. I believe he was 1st Bn. On the back of this is written "Haseia Redoubt near Gorga Nov. 1917" I'm wondering if this really means "Hareira redoubt near Gaza" Does anyone know the terrain and campaign well enough to determine this?
