Jim Strawbridge Posted 31 March , 2008 Share Posted 31 March , 2008 In my Register I have May Grant, Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service. Bit of a story to her but won't tell it here as a bit unsavoury. She is on the Scottish Military Nursing Services Memorial as TFNS. Also on the Duthill War Memorial, Inverness-shire. But not, so far as I can see, with the CWGC.

Sue Light Posted 31 March , 2008 Share Posted 31 March , 2008 There is a service record at The National Archives for a May Grant who served with the Territorial Force Nursing Service, reference WO399/11613. I would think this is a good place to start - it seems probable that it refers to the woman you're looking for, and may answer a few of the questions.
