Muskoka Posted 23 March , 2008 Share Posted 23 March , 2008 I'm going to visit the Pas de Calais / Picardy region in a few weeks, and was curious to see where some of the RFC areodromes were located. I've more-or-less found Filescamp Farm (or at least Izel-les-Hameaux) and Estree Blanche on Google maps. Does anyone have any suggestions for aerodromes that might have supported the 3rd Ypres Battle, for instance? Thanks!
Dolphin Posted 23 March , 2008 Share Posted 23 March , 2008 You might look out for a copy of Airfields & Airmen - Ypres by Mike O'Connor, ISBN 0 85052 753 8 which is packed with information on the aerodromes of the area. Cheers Gareth

They're all excellent. Gareth
