staffsreg Posted 19 March , 2008 Share Posted 19 March , 2008 A good man our Michael...a fine ambassador for our country. In my humble opinion, he ought to be a Sir. Many more less well deserving bods are.... Ivan.
Twiglet Posted 19 March , 2008 Share Posted 19 March , 2008 Oo I shall look out for that. I too agree that he should be made a Sir, (but not Sir Lancelot or Sir Not Appearing in this Film)....

montbrehain Posted 19 March , 2008 Share Posted 19 March , 2008 UNCLE BILL, its surprising just who makes it to Thiepval. Many Julys ago I took part in the memorial service there as a member of the Khaki Chums. Afterwards we were surprised to see Percy Toplis himself. (of course I got his autograph , for the mrs you understand )I look forward to the TV programme "MO"

MoonMonkey Posted 21 March , 2008 Share Posted 21 March , 2008 Its the monocled mutineer in one of his confounded diguises! This time as a 21st Century actor! The cad! Quick, arrest that man! When I was at Theipval I met Professor Richard Holmes of "War Walks" and "Western Front" fame (among others). Mind you....I suppose he goes there a lot!
