Dogan Sahin Posted 18 March , 2008 Share Posted 18 March , 2008 For those who are interested in Turkish State records, part1 of a book on Canakkale is now available online (free) , it is in latin Turkish. www.devletarsivleri.gov.tr You will see a red covered book-picture in mid page. That is the one. Also, the "catalogue" section has thousands of documents listed. Some are in English or French but as usual with any library, you need a simple permission (online) and Visit ıstanbul for period "up to 1920" and Ankara for the Republican period. Photocopy permitted. You may only examine 15 records per day..It is free. Unfortunately documents are yet not available online (however some can be obtained online) regards
