Terry Carter Posted 15 March , 2008 Share Posted 15 March , 2008 Below is the details from the NA of Frank Harold Newton Marson. He was an original volunteer to the 3rd Birmingham Battalion (16th Royal Warwicks). I was hoping a Forum member might have a bit more info of his service with the RFC/RAF. Was he a pilot? etc etc Thanks Terry Medal card of Marson, Frank Harold Newton Royal Warwickshire Regiment 1230 Private Anti-Gas School 1230 Serjeant Royal Flying Corps Second Lieutenant Royal Air Force Lieutenant
per ardua per mare per terram Posted 15 March , 2008 Share Posted 15 March , 2008 Just a quickie as my computer isn't connecting to the net and I'm elsewhere! His RFC records are a standard army search. His RAF officers record should be in AIR 76, these are on microfilm, in alphabetical order.
