John was the youngest son of the village parish priest Rev Francis Gatliff. I would love to know more ?? John was given a "very fine" funeral farewell , one in Dartmouth and then in Alveley ! ( reported in great detail in the Bridgnorth Journal) Now for a new mystery - Rev Gatliff donated generously to the Alveley War Memorial but his son's name is'nt on it ???
