Their RAF service papers might be in AIR 76, these are held on microfilm in alphabetical order at Kew.

Hi....I collected medals/reseaarched 47 Squadron for over 20 years, have all info (now in storage in garage) I can honestly say that I do not remember any 'Russian' attachments. The records are the whole diary of actions, lists of Officers and OR, and Russian medal decorations with sometimes citations.....
