Martin Bennitt Posted 11 January , 2008 Share Posted 11 January , 2008 For anyone in or near Paris in the next few weeks I can recommend an exhibition of German war and post-war expressionist art on show at the Musée Maillol on the rue de Grenelle (metro rue du Bac), which I went to this week. There are works by Dix, including his famous series of wartime sketches, as well as Grosz, Beckman and others. Here is a link in English. http://www.museemaillol.com/index2.html cheers Martin B
uncle bill Posted 23 January , 2008 Share Posted 23 January , 2008 Thanks for that Martin. I might try and get to see it. I saw an Otto Dix picture from the underground train and wondered what it was.
