Guest Posted 28 December , 2007 Share Posted 28 December , 2007 My grandfather, Claude Ambrose Hodgkins, served in the RFA. His service number was 99633. His first service overseas was in Egypt, where he disembarked on 17/7/1915. Is it posible from this infrmation to identify his brigade or battery or even to which division he was attached? I would be grateful for any assistance.

I should have said I have already checked the records at Kew without success. I was wondering whether anybody had access to details of which units disembarked on which dates in Egypt.
