2 AM F R Berry RAF

Hi,

Wonder if any member could help with any information on the above Airman award of the MM in 1918, he served with the West Riding Regt in 1915 then transfered to the RAF, hsi Military Medal is named 2 AM F R Berry 74 Sqn RAF. I have been told he won his MM for trying to recover a downed Enemy Aircraft & was wounded at that time.

He later served in WW2 in Africa with the 8th Army & may have been captured & spent time as a POW.
