privatewickham Posted 1 December , 2007 Share Posted 1 December , 2007 Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I didn't know where else to put this. Music is after all a form of art! I a member of Soundclick, and have been browsing the folk charts there, and have come across these 2 gems. Although not contemporary, they are never the less quite moving and poinient in my humble opinion. I though that you folks would appreciate them (you may need to install sounclick's media player to listen to them) John Condon (I know there is strong evidence that John Condon was infact 18 when he fell, this is never the less a moving piece) Laidlaw's Last Lament Thanks Simon

1Oth Battalion Posted 22 January , 2008 Share Posted 22 January , 2008 I've been thinking it'd be nice if there was a Great War compilation album of contemporary songs related to the Great War. Pipes of Peace by Paul McCartney All Together Now by The Farm Passchendaele by The Good Books The Green Fields of France by The Men They Couldn't Hang are 4 songs that I know of. Anyone got any more?
