Hi all,

Charles Reid, L/CPL, 13582

King's Own Scottish Borderers, 2nd Battalion

Born Galashiels, Selkirk

Enlisted Jedburgh, Roxburgh

Residence Jedburgh, Roxburgh

Died 25 Sept 1916

Killed in action

Theatre France & Flanders

I can't locate any further info on this soldier, I was after a date of birth and info on what the 2nd Bn KOSB was up to on the 25/09/1916 the opening day for the battle of MOVAL, Somme. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

L Cpl Reid is given the number 13582 on Scottish National War Memorial ( probably their error).
