domsim Posted 14 November , 2007 Share Posted 14 November , 2007 Don't know if this has been mentioned before but the Archaeology Data Service has the results of the English heritage survey of army camps in England 1850-2000. Army camps in England Click on the link and it might go to a disclaimer page so click on "I agree" and you should then go to the project page, otherwise you go straight to the project page. Click on "downloads" and it takes you to a list of regional Excel spreadsheets. Very basic but still very useful. Cheers Dominic

Ivor Lee Posted 22 November , 2007 Share Posted 22 November , 2007 That's the problem - the message I am receiving does not have the hypelink showing just a gap in the message! So can someone copy out the URL rather than send it as a hyperlink please. Ivor

Ivor Ivor - it worked for me to just click on the underlined phrase: Army Camps in England but if the whole thing is missing.... the URL is: http://ads.ahds.ac.uk/catalogue/archive/armycamp_eh_2006/ http: then //ads.ahds.ac.uk/catalogue/archive/armycamp_eh_2006/ sorry about the weird spacing but if I copy the whole thing out it automatically makes it a hyperlink!
