Remembered Today:

6th (Rifle) Battalion, King's (Liverpool Regiment) TF

This is what I intended last night before the gremlin struck:

I believe that 6th (Rifle) Bn The King's (Liverpool Regiment) TF landed at Havre on 25 Feb 1915, attached 15 Brigade, 5th Division. On 13 March Private [or Rifleman] Frederick H Wedlake, 1753, a prewar TF soldier and teacher, died of wounds, to be buried at Ramparts Cemetery, Ypres.

This seems very quick for a Territorial battalion to be at the front, and any information about its movements and other casualties around this date would be welcome.

Thank you Ken for your offer.

Daggers,

Checking my bookshelf, it appears that my copy of the 6KLR War Diary is out on loan. I'll try and get hold of it a.s.a.p. and let you have the details.
