Michael Johnson Posted 19 November , 2007 Share Posted 19 November , 2007 If he disembarked in France in 1919 he wouldn't have qualified for any medals, hence no MIC. It was still a theatre of war, but the medal cut-off was the Armistice, not the Peace.
liverpool annie Posted 19 November , 2007 Author Share Posted 19 November , 2007 Sorry Michael ... I didn't make that very clear .... he was in France from June 1915 and disembarked in Folkstone in 1919 !! Annie

Michael Johnson Posted 19 November , 2007 Share Posted 19 November , 2007 Might be only four - I suspect that Rev. B.J. Walsh and Rev. Bernard Thomas Walsh might be the same man, given the possibility of reading a T as a J.

Audax Posted 22 November , 2007 Share Posted 22 November , 2007 Reverend Jerome Walsh commissioned as a Chaplain to the Forces 4th Class : London Gazette The Army List 1916 would have given you the same information. A
