His father was a CofE clergyman from March, Cambs who originated from Poland which may explain the change of name to Thwaite due to its Germanic origins

I would appreciate any further info that any pal may have available

2Lt M F Thwaite was killed in an accident while flying FE 2b D9152 of No 58 Training Depot Station at Cranwell on 28 October 1918.
