Capt Levingston 11th Light Horse who died on 17th November 1917. Please raise a 90th Anniversary glass to him in a couple of weeks as I will - an old British regular fighting for his new home country. The regimental history records simply that desperately ill he came up with the rations for his regiment, did his duty and died. For such was the stuff that these men were made of. wroclaw Posted 5 November , 2007 Share Posted 5 November , 2007 Thanks Gal, Looking forward to seeing more regards Michael last ones: as the riders got close to the parking lots, TA Coffee shops and WiFi connections, cameramen were everywhere, so I rather chose to take the less "front page" ones, but more "earthly"... enjoy: The ceremony at the CWGC, including a father and sone, dressed as British soldiers, that came on their own The re enactement Unofficial farewell "party" Also: a modest ceremont at Tel Beersheba by the New Zealand ambassador (to Ankara) and NZ officers from the Sinai peninsula force.
