Well Done Australia. A great effort. Excellent pics.

Also Remembering my Great Uncle Hon. Capt Levingston 11th Light Horse who died on 17th November 1917.

Please raise a 90th Anniversary glass to him in a couple of weeks as I will - an old British regular fighting for his new home country.

The regimental history records simply that desperately ill he came up with the rations for his regiment, did his duty and died. For such was the stuff that these men were made of.

Very many thanks Gal

And well done with pictures, and no doubt all the hard work behind the scenes

contributing to such an undoubted success.

Page 10, picture #16 has to become a favourite

very best regards

Quite an impressive group for a re-enactment so far from home base. Would anyone know off hand how many members of the Australian Light Horse Association there are total?

Thanks..

last ones: as the riders got close to the parking lots, TA Coffee shops and WiFi connections, cameramen were everywhere, so I rather chose to take the less "front page" ones, but more "earthly"... enjoy:

The ceremony at the CWGC, including a father and sone, dressed as British soldiers, that came on their own

The re enactement

Unofficial farewell "party"

Also: a modest ceremont at Tel Beersheba by the New Zealand ambassador (to Ankara) and NZ officers from the Sinai peninsula force.

Once again Gal, very many thanks for all the excellent photographs.

Even with all the hard work, I hope that you had a chance to enjoy the events too.

best regards
