Panoramic view from the Cheese museum

Hello

On our recent trip to the battlefield we took a number of panoramic views, these from left to right are taken from the car park at the cheese museum ,the road leads back toward Passchendaele

Can you identify the farms please

These are nice photos, Andy. And of course Wallemolen, as identified by Marnik, is Varlet Farm, well-known to many forum members as an excellent B&B.

Tom,

Is that how Varlet would be marked on a Trench Map (If I was at home I would have a quick look), as I don't recall seeing Varlet actually marked on a Trench Map

By comparison to the map - Fleet Cottage left and Marsh Bottom on the right hand side of the road, Bellevue at the top of the road

I was looking for the areas where the West Yorkshire battalions fought, I will be posting more later from just down the road toward Gravenstafel and others from Tyne Cot
