ZimRich Posted 13 October , 2007 Share Posted 13 October , 2007 Hi, I was researching a Sister J Spittal TFNS and after a quick look through the MIC's there are several entries listing a Sister J Spittal with the Territorial Force Nursing Service, Scottish General Hospital TFNS and Royal Rifle Corps TFNS?? I'm assuming that the Royal Rifle Corps is simply a mistake with someone seeing the abbreviations for RRC, Royal Red Cross, and assuming they meant the Royal Rifle Corps? A Sister J Spittal TFNS is also listed in the National Archives as being MID three times, LG 06/12/1916 page 11941, LG 21/07/1917 page 7456 and LG 11/06/1918 page 6926. I've had a look through the London gazette but as usual with my searches I can't find the entries Can anyone with more experience than me with the LG have a quick look! Thanks for any help Rich
