This is have done and now have a list of ships he was stationed on. However, there is one I can't find anywhere on the WWW and hoped someone may be able to advise. The ship is HMS JAMAR and he was on it from 15th April 1904 to 14th March 1905. Not sure what it is or where it might have gone. Many thanks. reminiscene Posted 9 October , 2007 Share Posted 9 October , 2007 Do you mean "HMS Tamar? If so, I suspect the one you are after is the which was hulked as a base ship in Hong Kong. She was certainly there in 1905 and apparently remained there until replaced by the shore station of the same name.
