Remembered Today:

Man on a Wire

Longboat

This sketch was drawn by my Grandfather whilst recovering from his wounds received near Le Sars on the 7th October 1916. He spent 3 months confined to a bed and in that time filled two small books with his drawings, of which I still have one.

Have you any more of these?

All the best

Neil,

No problem and yes there are some more but I'm not the world's best at uploading pics as this one took me the best part of 2 hours,

Well Pals,

I had no idea the old boy was such a plagiariser but in his defence. being laid up in a hospital bed for three months you would look for anything to do to keep you occupied.

I'll post another of his sketches and please let me know if you recognise the drawing,

Longboat
