hello all, does anyone know which auxillary trawlers were attached to hms pekin at the beginning of ww1, hms pekin was the depot ship for grimsby, also if you were posted from pekin to the eastern med. in 1915 for the galipolli campaign would you go with your ship or troop out and join a ship there, thankyou again, regards, john

John, can't answer the first part.

For the second, if your ship was posted to Gallipoli you would go with her as part of the crew. If you were posted as an individual then you would be allocated a berth in a transport.

Best wishes

David
