Donny Anderson Posted 27 September , 2007 Share Posted 27 September , 2007 Can anyone supply any info into the loss of the trawler Quail III on 23/06/1915. I believe she was lost as the result of a collision off Portland. Does anyone know what she was in collision with, crew list or if any of her crew were lost. Thanks in advance, Donny
Malcolm Posted 27 September , 2007 Share Posted 27 September , 2007 Dittmar and College only has the following under Fishery Trawlers. ie. not on RN War Duty but part of the fishing fleet. HMT QUAIL, Port No GY215, ( Grimsby) 265 tons launched 1906. There is nothing about her fate. Aye Malcolm
