"Billy" Bellaires was commissioned into the Royal Marines on 2.9.14 and served at some stage with the RND until he was attached to the RE Special Brigade in March 1916. His tour with them was short lived as he was then attached to the Assistant Provost Marshall, 1st Army in May 1916. I anybody can help fill in the gaps, I would be grateful.
