Guest Ian Bowbrick Posted 9 January , 2004 Share Posted 9 January , 2004 If I have understood your question - they are numbered to the individual.
blue Posted 11 January , 2004 Author Share Posted 11 January , 2004 I was once told by a dealer that somtimes a batch of badges were issued to a group of soldiers from the same regiment with the same badge number (Depot impressed ?) but i never found any proof of this. I, like you, belive individual badge numbers were given to each soldier. Thanks Blue
Guest Ian Bowbrick Posted 11 January , 2004 Share Posted 11 January , 2004 Blue, What was he trying to sell you Thats a load of old pony I'm afraid - a batch of badges with sequential numbers being allocated is true, but not badges with the same number. robwilliams Posted 13 January , 2004 Share Posted 13 January , 2004 If you look at the SWB rolls at the NA you will clearly see everyone is individually numbered. Rob
