kevin Posted 9 January , 2004 Share Posted 9 January , 2004 The gentleman that i am researching shows that he transfered duty when moving from a Training Battalion to a Pioneer Battalion(he was in the Training Battalion for 16 mths service, finished with rank of Cpl). He then stayed with the Pioneer Battalion for 1mth before again Transfering Duty to a Service Battalion where he finished the war as a CQMS. My understanding if correct is that he was involved in the Training of new recruits? Then Transfered duty to the Pioneers as a Pioneer? Then Transfered duty again to a Service Battalion as a front line soldier?(His medcal cat was A1 from start to end). Is this correct,or am i just barking up the wrong tree again.
