centurion Posted 6 September , 2007 Share Posted 6 September , 2007 Looking through "The Air Defence of Britain 1914 - 1918 " by Cole and Cheesman ( a pretty comprehensive account of all raids on Britain in the period) there is no mention of Worcester. However looking at the route of L62 in the raid 12/13 April 1918 it is possible that this took the Zeppelin over Worcester. L62 dropped its bombs "somewhere to the SW of Birmingham" but in open country (L62 appeared to be unsure of where it actually was).
