centurion Posted 2 September , 2007 Share Posted 2 September , 2007 Other than the inevitable diplomatic activity plus espionage etc there was no British involvement in Afghanistan during WW1. The 3rd Afghan war was a seperate event entirely (starting with an Afghan invasion of India. I have a couple of small photos sent to him by an army friend as a Christmas card in the '30's . (The pictures are just scenery and a pet dog ).
