linden Posted 2 September , 2007 Share Posted 2 September , 2007 I really enjoyed watching and reading "Jewel in the Crown" . The Jallianvala Bagh massacre was mentioned in the series . Does anyone know which regiment(s) were involved ? Regards, Linden

Patrick ODwyer Posted 2 September , 2007 Share Posted 2 September , 2007 I think it was my son!! Seriously though, Sir Michael O'Dwyer came from the O'Dwyer heartland around Kilnamanagh. We hail from further south. Very distant if any relation at all. I have a paper clipping of the event somewhere I'll see if I can dig out. PM me if I forget.
