John_Hartley Posted 8 January , 2004 Share Posted 8 January , 2004 The history of the 18th Manchesters includes this little snippet for March 1916:- "On the 7th, Lieut Powell was seriously wounded by the accidental discharge of a revolver by a brother officer in "B" Company mess; and on the 8th, Sec-Lieut.
