Remembered Today:

RNR MICS equivalent

Am I right in believing that after the Great War there was a similar system in the RN as there was with the Army re Medal index cards?

I am after the entitlement of a RNR officer and was wondering where these records are located?

Appreciate any help

ADM 171/92 Royal Naval Reserve Officers: A-Mas also Royal Marines Officers: A-Z

ADM 171/93 Royal Naval Reserve Officers: Mat-Z also Merchant Marine Reserve Officers and misc.

The rolls are typed up all in nice and simple alphabetical order, now on microfilm, with first name in full. A few have been added by hand, but nothing as complex as MICs. If you know when he served his medal entitlement can be guessed with about 99% accuracy!
