Konrad Kaplen and D.McCann

[Guest eddie]

Ex soldier friend does paintings of old soldiers and is trying to find out the regiments the following two soldiers were in to allow him to complete his paintings.

First soldier was Konrad Kaplen

Born Poland 25 Feb 1925

Died Rochdale 23 Oct 1991

Played football for Celtic, Rochdale, Morecambe and Altrincham.

Second soldier was D.McCann

Born Hurlford, Scotland 18 Mar 1888

Joined army 1914, Corporal 1917

We live in Canada so info is fairly difficult to come by.

Any help would be appreciated.
